The inflation was beginning to rise and more then doubles untill April 1994. •The GDP was falling rapidly from 8% to -5%.• Public sector borrowing rate rose sharply, which is a structural problem arising from the years before 1993.• Public Sector deficit doubled in the timeline of 1995 -1997. Compared with 1997, until January 1998 the declinement continued.• While the Lira was depreciating very sharp, the exports rise and the current balance defecit was shortly recovering.• 1996 Turkey was accepted in the EU-Trade union and the imports began to rise sharply with a strong domestic demand for goods.
